[HMDS] Another Party Request
Maybe I just don't understand the teen grid yet, but we've just had our second request for a party to be held on GK Island. The thing is, no one is asking us to run it - and why should they, who needs us - but asking for permission to do it on their own.
Since we have no procedure in place it makes me a little nervous - something official that we are not planning - but if the TSL residents who know us and respect what we are about are interested in creating activities and spreading the "brand" it is certainly worth exploring. My conditions are that the official GK logo be used for promotions, that I be told in advance what the party plans are, and that I receive photos afterwards. So far so good.
Part of what interests me about these requests is the interest to do this on GK Island at all. Why not somewhere else? I asked Storm, the organizer, what he had in mind. He told me, "Because i like partys and i think it would be good for people to come to and it will make global kids more recognized." He said he would be teaching things as well, to make it educational. Teaching what exactly? "ahh well ill be teaching people how to make wings and stuff on sl."
