PRESS
- [blog] The SLCC post-mortem from Education Track co-chair Daniel Livingston: "Connie Yowell of the MacArthur foundation gave an inspirational keynote, during which I was too-often distracted with trips to the tech support to try and work out how we could get connected... Barry Joseph’s interactive session for Global Kids went down very well, and really gave a boost to the attendees. Special award to Barry for managing to squeeze the event into the very small amount of time we were able to allocate to him."

- NMC Campus Oveserver's SLCC - Can We Do Better? - "Look at the great documentation done by Global Kids. Those sessions were the exceptions, as the GK folks always get us up out of the chairs, moving around, doing activities. We need more of that!... if SLCC 08 stays to the traditional conference approach, I’d rather be home in my PJs inworld..."

The best practices are a great start for educators, we need to take this great work forward. I'll send a post to the 3,000 odd members of the SLED list to see if we can develop this further using the comments feature for each of the 12 slides in your flickr set at:

Hope enough will bite! :-)
